Brother Larry Miller remembered

We are saddened to announce that after a lengthy illness, retired Lt. Larry Miller passed away the morning of October 25, 2007.

Brother Miller is remembered as a dedicated officer of both the Stow Police Department as well as of our Lodge.  He will be greatly missed.

Brother Miller was laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetary in Rittman.

Our Website needs your input

I need several people who would be willing to write a biography of one or more of our brother and sister officers who have passed on.  I'm looking for a brief bio and a photo suitable for inclusion on our website.  If you can help, please e-mail: jbastock@stowfop82.org. Thanks for your help!!

Per Your Request

Some of you have requested info on how to obtain a FOP license plate;

Email Denise Young at the State of Ohio FOP headquarters, at dyoung@fopohio.org

Provide your full name, lodge (Stow Lodge 82), and address. Your address must either be the one that is already on file with the BMV, or if you plan on switching it to the PD address AT THE SAME TIME AS GETTING YOUR NEW PLATES then provide that to Denise. She will verify your member status and mail you back the form.

The State lodge phone is 800 367-6524 if you have questions.
