American Diabetes Association
The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. Each Year a portion of the proceeds from our annual golf outing is earmarked to suuport their efforts to educate, inform and find a cure for this disease. We are proud partners with them in thier efforts.
Redmon Grief Resource Center
The Redmon Grief Center is a unique source of grief support that provides compassion, care, resources, bereavement facilitators and support groups. These groups are designed to help those who are suffering and grieving the death of a loved one. The Stow FOP Lodge #82 is a proud supporter of their work and goals to comfort those torn by the loss of a loved one.
March of Dimes
The mission of this fine organization is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Through research, community services, education and advocacy they strive to save babies' lives. We are pleased to stand with them to protect the next genreation.
Stow Youth Baseball
SYBS is a nonprofit organization consisting of parents and volunteers dedicated to the instruction, participation and education of all youth in the sport of baseball or softball and the sportsmanship associated with the game. Our lodge sponsors a team each year. This year our team is in second place with an impressive 6 to1 record. Go Team!!!
Stow Gridiron Club
The Stow Gridiron Club is a nonprofit organization consisting of parents and volunteers dedicated to the instruction, participation and education of all youth in the sport of football and the sportsmanship associated with the game. Our lodge sponsors a team each year.
Stow Chamber Orchestra
The Stow Symphony Orchestra, now in its ninth season, has 45+ volunteer musicians ranging in age from high school students to retirees and a Board of Directors. We are proud to lend our support to their cultural efforts.
Akron Children's Hospital Medical Center
We are pleased to support Children's Hospital with our donations to the Wine and Wishes fundraiser. Children's hospital is a premier medical facility serving families across the region and the nation with it's services, including a first class burn unit for treatring life threatening burn injuries.
Summit County Public Safety Telecommunicators
The SCPST represents the fine individuals who are our dispatchers and co-workers. We are honored and pleased to support this organization and through them the women and men who help keep us safe in the field.
Shop with a Cop
The primary purpose of the "Shop With A Cop" program is to provide disadvantaged children with holiday gifts and to have them interact with law enforcement officers in a positive setting. Children ride in police vehicles to WalMart where they purchased toys, clothes, and more. We are perennial supporters of this event.
Stow-Munroe Falls Rotary
The Rotary Club is made up of business owners, professionals and managers, who take pride in assisting programs within a wide range of community and civic needs. It has been our pleasure to support this organization which works to serve our neighbors with a variety of programs and projects.
Trust Fund for Firefighter Kade Kotheimer
Kade Kotheimer is a former dispatcher for our department and is a firefighter who was critically injured in a traffic accident while assisting a family at the roadside. Kade lay in a coma for many months while friends and family hoped for his recovery. We are honored to support Kade and his family as he continues his fight to recover.
